We are Teb and Rhea Jagger, together we make up Jagger Farms. Rhea serves the people of Eastern Kentucky working as a flight paramedic and part time on a ground ambulance crew. Teb recently left The United States Army serving as a medic. Now he continues to work in his community as a paramedic and serving in the Kentucky National Guard.
Jagger Farms is a budding family homestead and mini farm. Our goal with this project is to be more self-sufficient as well as provide homegrown produce and handmade goods to our community. While we are still finding our place here, we aim to bring unwavering drive and dedication to our animals and produce. Thank you for visiting our page and we hope you stick around to watch us grow.
On our sixteen-acre property, we currently have twenty chickens, six ducks of different breeds, and six breeding rabbits. We intend to grow a variety of produce in our twelve raised beds. Our future plans involve raising a variety of goats, as well as honey bees. We also aim to use what we produce to make plenty of handmade goods for us and others in our community to enjoy. Stay up to date on all our latest projects by visiting our Instagram page where we post updates and current projects.
Meet Rence and Cooper, the most important members of the team. Rence was rescued as a stray in Texas. Her story is too much to tell in this little space. She has a big personality and loves to hang out with the animals. Her favorite things are her stuffed animals, playing ball, and chasing her brother around.
Cooper is the newest addition to the family. He was also found as a stray and was in need of a loving home. He excels at his job of protecting the homestead. He can always be found hanging out outside, just waiting for someone to pet him.
Help us grow this summer. Find us at the local Farmer's Markets here in Eastern Kentucky and check out our produce and products. Everything purchased from us goes directly back to the farm. We plan to have branded T-shirts available for purchase so that you can let everyone know that you support small businesses and this family farm.
